Terms of Service
The details that apply to your eSIM purchase.

Introduction
- These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the eSIM Society website (esimsociety.com) and your purchase and use of our eSIM plans. eSIM Society (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides these services. By using our website or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms.
- The eSIM plan details shown before payment, including destinations, networks, speed, validity, activation period and any fair-use limits, form part of your order.
- If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.
- We may update these Terms at any time.
Eligibility
- You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase from us.
Our service
- eSIM Society provides unlimited data eSIM plans for international travellers seeking reliable, cost-effective mobile data. Our website allows you to browse, filter and select the most suitable eSIM plan for your trip. Once purchased, the eSIM is installed on your device and connects to local networks at your destination, without the need for a physical SIM card, a long-term contract or roaming charges.
- Our travel eSIM plans provide temporary access to mobile services. Every plan includes mobile data. Calls, SMS and a phone number are included only where stated in the plan details.
- We do not guarantee that our eSIM plans provide access to emergency services (or local equivalents, including emergency SMS and location-based assistance) or to any premium services.
- Subject to clause 10(c), we are not liable for any inability to access these services, or for any resulting loss, damage, injury or claim.
Your account
- Certain features may require an account.
- You must keep your login details, and your eSIM QR code or installation link, confidential. Any person who obtains them may be able to install or use your plan. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
Device compatibility
- Before purchasing, you must ensure that your device supports eSIM and is carrier unlocked. Compatibility may depend on the manufacturer, the model, carrier restrictions and the country or region in which the device was purchased. Our eSIM compatible phone check is available to assist you.
- Our list of compatible devices is a general guide only and may not be complete or fully accurate. As manufacturers release different versions of the same model in different markets, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device.
- Our eSIM plans are not designed or tested for use with eSIM-to-physical-SIM adapters or travel routers. We do not provide support for these devices, nor do we provide refunds or replacement eSIM plans for issues arising from their use. Any such use is at your own risk. If you contact us for assistance, we will refer you to the device manufacturer.
Coverage and performance
- Advertised speeds and network performance are not guaranteed. Network congestion, your device, local network infrastructure and your location may all affect your connection.
- While we aim to provide high-speed data wherever it is available, speeds may be significantly reduced, or service limited, in rural, remote and island areas, disputed territories, conflict zones and areas with less developed networks. Speeds may also be reduced in crowded, high-density locations, such as stadiums, concerts, festivals and major events, where many people use the same network at once.
- The coverage, IP breakout locations, local networks and roaming partners we use may change at any time without notice. A change of network may affect coverage, speed and availability in certain areas.
- Governments may restrict, limit or suspend mobile services without warning.
- To keep their networks secure and fair for all users, network operators may suspend, restrict or disconnect an eSIM without notice where there is clear evidence that it has been used for fraud, misuse or illegal activity. No refund, replacement or credit will be provided in these circumstances.
- Subject to clause 10(c), we do not provide refunds, credits or replacements for coverage or performance issues, including slow speeds, intermittent connectivity or loss of signal.
Purchase, installation and activation
- Following your purchase, we will send your eSIM and installation instructions to the email address on your order.
- Each plan must be activated within the activation period stated in its plan details. If a plan is not activated within that period, the eSIM will cease to work and no refund will be provided.
- Certain plans have strict installation requirements, which must be followed exactly for the eSIM to work. Installing an eSIM more than once, whether on the same device or a different device, will void the plan, and no refund or replacement will be provided.
- eSIM plans are non-transferable. If you upgrade, replace or lose your device, a new eSIM plan must be purchased, and no refund or credit will be provided.
- An expired eSIM cannot be reactivated. Where a plan may be extended (shown as “Extend eSIM Plan” in its plan details), additional days may be added before it expires. Otherwise, a new eSIM plan must be purchased.
- We may send you notifications about your usage, validity, network disruptions and requests for feedback. You may manage these notifications once your plan has been purchased.
Prices and payment
- Prices may change at any time without notice. The price payable is the price shown at checkout.
- We may modify or discontinue any service, or any part of it, at any time without notice.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any change to prices or services, or for the discontinuation of any service.
- Payments are processed securely by our authorised payment providers. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, Bancontact and iDEAL, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices. Accepted payment methods may change.
- Prices, including any applicable taxes, may vary according to your location and local regulations. The final price is shown at checkout before payment. Bundle savings, where offered, are shown in your cart.
Reviews, comments and ideas
- By submitting content, reviews, suggestions, proposals or ideas (“comments”), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to use, edit, reproduce, publish and distribute them, in whole or in part, for any purpose, in any media, format or location, whether now existing or developed in the future, without further permission, attribution or compensation, to the extent permitted by law.
- You confirm that you hold the rights necessary to grant this licence. We are under no obligation to keep comments confidential, to provide compensation for them or to respond to them.
- We may monitor, edit or remove any comments we consider unlawful, offensive or in breach of these Terms.
Refunds and Plan Protection
- eSIM plans are non-refundable, except where Plan Protection has been purchased (clause 10(b)) or where a refund is required by law (clause 10(c)).
- Plan Protection is optional, is offered on selected plans, and applies only where it was purchased with the plan:
- We’ll refund 100% of your eSIM plan, as long as it hasn’t been installed or activated.
- Claim any time up to 7 days after your arrival day.
- The Plan Protection fee is the only bit we keep.
- Refunds land back on your card within 10 days.
- Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights, or any other right you have by law that cannot be excluded.
- To assess a refund request under the Australian Consumer Law, we may request information reasonably required for that purpose, such as your eSIM's ICCID, your device's cellular settings and your location at the time of use.
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method without undue delay. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear, depending on your payment provider.
- Where store credit is offered, it may take up to 24 hours to appear in your eSIM Societyaccount. Where possible, it is issued in the currency of your original purchase; otherwise, it is issued in USD. Store credit does not replace a refund to which you are entitled by law, unless you agree.
